These were taken over the course of the summer.  These are only a few of what I took.  I don't currently have a macro lens, but I am hoping to get one for Christmas.  I am using a Nikon D50, lens used is a Nikon 70 - 200.

		I was at the laundromat one day, and the person who works there, Yvonne, was saying that she wished I was there the day before with my camera.  Then she proceeded to tell me about this praying mantis that was looking through the window.  Not two minutes after she told me about him/her, he/she popped it's head in the window.  I just happened to have my camera in the car and I ran to the car and went inside and started to take pictures.  I clicked a few cuz he was moving.  When he/she stopped, I stopped.  Then he/she started moving, I started clicking again.  We laughed thinking that he/she was posing for me.  Yvonne said that when he/she was leaving, it waved.  Then we found out, that a few days later, someone killed it because another person was afraid of it, so he squashed it.
		I think it's against the law in RI to kill them.  I don't know about anywhere else.
